Mr. Park worried about his match against Malaysia.

Park Hang-seo shared: "In October, the Vietnamese team will play away with Malaysia in the 2022 World Cup qualifier. This is the most important match for the Vietnamese team. I have some concerns for. Firstly, Malaysia had 4 naturalized players and recently naturalized 3 more players.

Second, their Bukit Jalil yard can accommodate 80,000 spectators. The yard is closed, so when the Malaysian fans scream and cheer, the sound will be very loud. This will put pressure on Vietnamese players. We have played on this field at the AFF Cup 2018 so we know it very well. "

Malaysia is considered the biggest counterpart of Vietnam when possessing many quality naturalized players such as Mohamadou Sumareh, Liridon Krasniqi, Matthew Davies, La'Vere Corbin-Ong or Brendan Gan.

At the 2022 World Cup Qualifier, Malaysia is in extremely impressive form with 2 victories over Thailand (2-1) and Indonesia (2-0). Tan Cheng Hoe’s side is ranked 2nd in Group G with 9 points after 5 matches. They are behind Vietnam (11 points), ahead of Thailand (8 points) and UAE (6 points).
