VFF leaders shared the reason for choosing the new Japanese technical director

After parting from Technical Director Jurgen Gede, Vietnam Football Federation signed a contract with Mr. Yusuke Adachi. The Japanese expert will become the new Director of Engineering and accompany Vietnamese football in the next 3 years.

Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan, Standing Vice Chairman of VFF, shared: “As we announced, VFF has selected a new factor to prepare for young Vietnamese football in the next period with a 3-year period, it is Adachi. He is one of the experienced trainers, participated in many World Cup events and is part of the Japanese youth soccer program.

Currently, he is a lecturer of FIFA, guiding and opening classes under the AFC program for the highest professional coach degree (Pro). Mr. Adachi, after negotiating with Vietnamese football, agreed to support Vietnam in the new phase both in youth training and at the national level, creating quality human resources for Vietnam.”

VFF is focusing its efforts on developing young Vietnamese football. In recent years, VFF organizes 15-20 training courses for coaches at clubs and youth soccer centers each year.

However, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan shared that Vietnamese football still needs to change and update knowledge from experienced experts. That is why VFF put its faith in Mr. Adachi, who has great experience in training young people and teaching coaching classes before.
