U23 Vietnam welcomed a special player’s visit during the training session

U23 Vietnam’s training session in the afternoon on March 25th was filled with happiness ever. Although all were preparing for an important match against Thailand to decide whether or not they are able to continue in the next round, they were very excited to witness Ahn Jung Hwan on the stands.

As soon as the training took place, all reporters were surprised when some Korean suddenly appeared without notice. And one of them is former striker Ahn Jung Hwan, who once scored in a World Cup match against Italy in 2002.

As reported, Ahn Jung Hwan and Korean entertainment stars came to Vietnam to perform a reality show called "Our Brother Park Hang Seo". This is also a chance for Ahn Jung Hwan to meet his former coach when the 60-year-old worked as an assistant to Guus Hiddink at World Cup 2020

Despite watching from the stands, Ahn Jung Hwan is still honored to shake coach Park Hang Seo’s hands and be welcomed. He was also extremely happy because he met the old coach who helped him nearly 20 years ago.

Coach Park Hang Seo also introduced Ahn Jung Hwan to Vietnamese players and all found it interesting to see this former player in real life. Even Mr. Park Hang Seo reported to Vietnamese Football Federation security officer about Korea visitors to not make it difficult for them to film the reality show.

After this training, U23 Vietnam will take a break to go for broke against Thai for the top rank in Group K, thereby winning the official ticket to AFC U23 championship next year.
