We are taller than Vietnamese players but technically worse

Chinese reporters had affirmed that Vietnam would remark their name at Asian Cup 2019 before the game started.

Setting a huge goal when attending the VFF U19 International Tournament, U19 China ranked 3th because of the matches losing to U19 Vietnam and U19 Thailand. U19 China received many criticisms from country fans by the reason of its poor achievement.

According to Sina newspapers: "Looking back at the performance of U19 China in the friendly tournament in Vietnam, we learned that in term of techniques and tactics, our players are lower than the opponents. The only feature that the Chinese players have are their height.

This pointed out the problem in training the youth of Chinese football. The Football Association of Vietnam has developed a detailed training program for the young in the annual youth tournaments at U13, U15, U17, U19, and U21. In 2011, they continued to add U11 tournament to form 6 levels of the youth tournament.

This was the premise making U20 Vietnam to attend the U20 World Cup for the first time and to open a new football era for Vietnam."

U19 Vietnam defeated U19 China in an international tournament

In early 2018, U23 Vietnam shocked Asian and made history when being the runner-up of 2018 AFC U-23 Championship happening in Changzhou. Recently, at the Asian Cup, Vietnam NT continued to remark their name when being in the top 8 strongest teams.”
